Do you know that the happiest people are those who engage with other people? Statistics say that it is true. Findings from a recent Gallup-Healthways Happiness-Stress Index reveal that people who had a face to face interaction with people for at least 6 to 7 hours a day were far happier than those who did not.

The growing popularity of boutique fitness highlights the importance of creating a fitness community at your studio. More and more studies reveal that running group classes at your studio results in a higher retention rate.

What Does A Community Inside a Fitness Studio Mean?

In a strong community culture, the owner and the coaches have an increased interest in their members’ success. It means they communicate regularly. A 2017 IHRSA study reveals that 90% of studio members value consistent communication from the staff. The staff must create an atmosphere that gives people comfort and confidence to achieve their fitness goals.

Besides building positive relationships between the staff and the clients, the community also means positive relationships amongst the members themselves. Moreover, people motivate and challenge each other to take part in rigorous workouts and work towards their fitness goals.
